The Future GGH Transportation Network

With the Greater Golden Horseshoe (GGH) growing by over 100,000 people per year, the region is expected to have 3 million more cars on the road a day during peak hour periods. In response, the Province of Ontario is investing $45 Billion over the next 25 years into public transportation infrastructure. The map above illustrates what this investment will look like from an overview perspective.
